Change

A year on the hard at Harwood Slipway saw us launch ready for another, but much quicker, circumnavigation. We were also in the process of buying a farm

that was about 70km West of Maclean. We rented out the house and set sail.

Sailed up the East coast and over the top to Darwin. Then off to Malaysia and Thailand.

Spent Christmas at Phuket then sailed to the Similan Islands. These islands were once great but have been ruined by the hordes of tourists that visit, corals dead.

Phuket was also very busy and not how we remembered it.

We got to enjoy working on The Langkawi International Yacht Regatta. Met some great people and had lots of fun.

Plans changed so now we would be sailing back to Australia and start the Good Life on the farm.

Sailed to East Timor and then back to Darwin in time for the 2014 dry season.

Sold the boat to a nice young couple from Broome who plan to go cruising.

We wish them all the best and hope they have as many happy times on GT as we did.

A very sad day for both of us, but we now start a new adventure.

We will miss the cruising life.

Cheers.
